What skills do we need to compete?
02
Where's the biggest gap?
03
Where should the budget go?

The problem

Three questions.
Nobody can answer with a straight face.

Did last year's training budget improve performance?
Which employees are actually ready for their next role?
Exactly where is the skill gap costing us money?
Why nobody can answer them
Skills and budget get picked by opinion, not evidence
One-size-fits-all training for every role
Success = "completed," not "improved"
The scale of the problem
NO ROI TRACKING
₹17,000Cr
spent every year on L&D in India. None of it tied back to a business result.
NO BASELINE
0%
of employees are benchmarked before training starts — so there's no way to prove it worked.
DISENGAGED LEARNERS
Generic
content, same for every role. Not personalised to the company or the gap, so learners tune out before it sticks.
From gut feel, no baseline, generic content. To rupee-backed decisions, benchmarked and personalised.
How it works

Measure. Value. Learn. Prove.

One loop, closed. Not four separate tools.

01 — MEASURE
Find the gap
Per role, per person, vs. the market.
02 — VALUE
Price the gap
Every skill, in rupees.
03 — LEARN
Close the gap
Your content, ours, or both — sequenced for one person.
04 — PROVE
Prove it worked
Every rupee spent, tracked to a result.

Why Learning Pathways

Everyone asks "what course?"
We ask "which investment?"

Built on years of research, not months of prompting.

The loop no one else closes
Gap → investment → impact. Measured.
L&D finally gets a financial answer.
Everyone says "skill gap." Few of them price it.
Others
  • Skill gaps flagged, not priced — no rupee number attached to the fix
  • Content recommended from a generic catalog, not the measured gap
  • One taxonomy, built for a different labour market, retrofitted to Indian roles
  • Success reported as completions, not capability gained
Learning Pathways
  • Every gap priced in rupees, ranked by what closing it is worth
  • Content sequenced from the measured gap first, catalog second
  • Ontology built for Indian roles and wages from day one
  • Success reported as proficiency gained and business impact moved

For every learner

Your pathway is yours. Not what everyone else gets.

Every learner sees a path tailored to their actual gap, their role, their proficiency level. Taught from real work. Coached by Atlas Professor. Paced to their speed — guided, coached, or fully self-paced.

  • Not a generic course for your role. A pathway for your gap.
  • Your playbooks, your context, your growth — not a textbook example.
  • Proof: skill passport shows what you've closed. Not just completion badges.
What measured impact looks like

Business results, not just completions.

Every gap closed is tracked back to what it moves — team metrics, readiness, revenue.

FAQ

Questions we get on every call.

What's the difference between Pathways and an LXP like Cornerstone or Docebo?
An LXP delivers and tracks content. It doesn't tell you which skill to fix first or what closing it is worth. Pathways sits above your LXP: it measures the gap, prices it in rupees, then routes to your existing content — or ours — to close it. You don't replace your LXP. You finally get a reason for what it assigns.
Our HRIS already shows a skills view — why pay for another layer?
Most HRIS skills views are self-reported or inferred from job titles — an employee checks a box, or the system guesses from their role. Pathways builds each skill passport from a structured baseline assessment, benchmarked against the actual role and the Indian labour market, not a global default. It reads from your HRIS and writes back into it — it doesn't ask you to abandon it.
How is a skill gap actually "priced" in rupees?
Every skill is ranked by occupation, industry, org, proficiency level, and market demand — not every gap matters equally, and the Skill Value Engine ranks them by what closing each one is actually worth, so budget goes to the highest-value gap first instead of the loudest request.
Is this just another AI chatbot bolted onto a course catalog?
No — retrieval over generation. Every number the platform shows is retrieved from a measured skill passport, not generated on the fly. Atlas Professor coaches inside that same structure, grounded in your own work and your org's playbooks, not a generic model improvising an answer.
What's the research basis, beyond "trust us"?
The Skill Value Engine is built on India's largest skills ontology plus years of ISB and UCLA research from the founding team — peer-reviewed economics, not prompt engineering. See the Team page for the specific research background.
Do we have to switch off LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, or Coursera to use this?
No. Pathways sits on top of your content stack and sequences from it — LinkedIn Learning, Udemy Business, Coursera, or your internal LMS — and fills in with Atlas-built immersive courses only where off-the-shelf content doesn't cover the gap.
